I'd just like to say I'm so thankful for the life I've been blessed with. I would have never imagined it would all pan out the way it has for me. If someone told me as a little toehead freckle-faced sunburnt grommet I'd be a professional surfer, travel the world surfing, be in love with the raddest girl ever (Hannah Norton, yeah that's her! :), and own my own business all by the age of 21, I probably wouldn't believe them.
I owe the biggest gratitude to my entire family. My Mom who has passed away now but had the biggest contribution to my surfing career. My Dad who is the best father a young man could ever ask for, and my brothers who I'm so proud of. I also want to thank all my friends for all your love and support. Kameron Brown, you've been one of the best friends I could ever ask for and I know we'll be friends forever. I lastly want to thank my longtime sponsor Gotcha and my friend Devin Johnson the head of marketing there who has approved more flights for me than any travel agency ever will in my entire lifetime. I'm so stoked to have gotten this far in this funny old life and I couldn't have done it without you guys!!
On another note, for anyone out there who's ever had a true dream, and I mean something that gets you going, gets your stoke meter maxed out, that mysterious thing that puts a smile on your face, inspires you, activates your imagination, or makes you feel accomplished or worthy, don't ever think for one second you can't grasp that and hold it close to you. It's there for you to discover, and it's there for you to keep too. All of it wouldn't be amazing without that.
